Innovative new product – “smart sofa”

On 18.01.2017, SD “Nachevi – 90 S-IE” signed contract BG16RFOP002-1.001-0061-C01 for the provision of grant-in-aid with the Ministry of Economy for the implementation of the project: „Increasing the innovative activity of SD “Nachevi-90-С-IE”, in the field of mechatronics, through the implementation in serial production and market realization of a useful model – “smart sofa”.
The project envisages the purchase of machines, equipment and the development of specialized software, necessary for the implementation in production and market realization of a high-tech product – “smart sofa” and has a total value of BGN 1,663,510.24, 40% of which is the company’s own financing, and the rest is a grant.
Thanks to the project, SD “Nachevi – 90 S-IE” will offer users an innovative new product – “smart sofa”. The smart sofa combines the luxury of relaxation with high technology, providing innovative functions such as heating on cold days and cooling on warm days, a relax mechanism, a built-in subwoofer and an extendable mechanism driven by an electric motor. All mechanisms are controlled by a tablet, according to the set temperature and sound modes. At the same time, it is possible to manage the entire home from one multimedia station. The intelligent device is equipped with a control device (tablet) with specially developed software for managing all modules.
The project will be implemented over 12 months. The new product is expected to go on sale in mid-2018.
